Cord Sandberg (Bradenton, FL) played pro baseball for six years, but he’s trading in the stick and leather for a shot at playing college football.

A one-time 4-star dual-threat high school QB in the class of 2013, Sandberg originally signed with Dan Mullen and Mississippi State; however, he elected to go pro in baseball.

Auburn and LSU made Sandberg’s final cut, along with N.C. State, and it appears that Sandberg is set to make a decision Monday, per AuburnSports.com.

Sandberg is currently visiting LSU, and he’s already visited Auburn and NC State.

“We really enjoyed our visit to Auburn and are looking forward to driving down to Baton Rouge (LSU),” Sandberg told AuburnSports.com. “I feel good about having enough information to make a decision early next week. On the drive back Monday, we will make a decision. I will call the coaches and let them know and then putting together something on social media.”

It appears that we’ll know early this week where Sandberg will play college football.
