Former South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney has had an NFL career that has been marked by injuries.
The 2014 No. 1 overall pick was finally coming into his own with the Houston Texans this season, but now he’ll miss Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers with an arm injury:
The #Texans just announced that OLB-DE Jadeveon Clowney (elbow, wrist) will not play Sun vs. #Packers. Clowney, Mercilus led Hous pass rush.

Clowney has 41 tackles and three sacks this season, playing in the absence of elite DE J.J. Watt.
Sunday’s game will be the former Gamecock’s first absence of the season.
