Former Tennessee assistant Jimmy Brumbaugh has reportedly landed a new gig.

Matt Zenitz of On3 and Doug Samuels of FootballScoop are reporting that Brumbaugh is joining Mario Cristobal’s Oregon Ducks staff as an analyst.

Brumbaugh was dismissed as Tennessee’s co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach during the 2020 season. There was even a shocking report claiming Jeremy Pruitt fired Brumbaugh during UT’s game against Kentucky.

Brumbaugh played offensive line at Auburn and had a brief professional career before getting into coaching in 2004 at Jacksonville State as a student assistant. Brumbaugh’s stops include LSU (2006-07, assistant strength coach) and Kentucky (defensive line coach, 2013-16).
