The 2017 NFL Draft came and went without LaTroy Lewis hearing his name called but that does not mean the end of the NFL dream for the former standout Tennessee defensive lineman. After being asked to participate in a rookie minicamp in Oakland, Lewis left the camp with an offer in hand. In didn’t take him long to sign the deal, making his addition to the Raiders organization official.

According to Michael Gehlken, Raiders beat writer for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Lewis’ deal with the Raiders is for three-years. Lewis must have made quite the impression on the organization during the rookie camp, as Gehlken notes he was one of the “standouts” from the event.
