Former Tennessee OL Addison Nichols is staying in the SEC.

Nichols took to social media on Tuesday to share that he has committed to continue his college football career at Arkansas.

Linemen with Power 5 playing experience tend to draw strong interest in the transfer portal. Nichols leaves Rocky Top after 2 seasons. He made appearances in 11 games this past season as a reserve, allowing 1 pressure on 49 snaps.

Nichols is from the Atlanta area. As a Class of 2022 prospect, he was rated 4-stars and the No. 6 interior offensive lineman on the 247Sports Composite. He picked up 30 scholarship offers, signing with Tennessee over Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, USC and others.

Nichols used a redshirt in 2022, giving him 3 remaining seasons of eligibility as he begins his Arkansas career. Tennessee and Arkansas play on Oct. 5, 2024 in Fayetteville.
