Former Texas WR Isaiah Neyor is headed to Nebraska with a bounce-back season in mind.

Neyor announced that he will play for Matt Rhule’s program after two seasons with the Longhorns. He shared the news on social media.

Just a 2-star prospect in the Class of 2019, Neyor began his career at Wyoming. He played in just 1 game of the 2019 season, taking a redshirt his first year.

Neyor was a redshirt freshman in 2020, though the season does not count against his NCAA eligibility due to COVID-19. In 6 games, he had 8 receptions for 248 yards.

The 2021 season was Neyor’s breakout year. He logged 44 catches for 878 yards and a dozen touchdowns, adding a rushing score to total 13 scrimmage TDs. Neyor earned second-team All-Mountain West recognition for his 2021 showing.

Neyor landed at Texas after his standout 2021 season, but things did not go as he hoped. Neyor missed all of 2022 due to an injury suffered in fall camp. This past season, Neyor appeared in just 1 game for the Longhorns, recording a 14-yard catch.
