White is a 6-foot, 258-pound player who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.
He has more than 40 scholarship offers, including offers from Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn.
White could be a running back, a fullback or a linebacker in college. Rivals rates him the No. 1 fullback in the nation, ESPN ranks him the No. 3 athlete and 247Sports says he’s the No. 5 athlete.
Last year, as a junior at North Webster High in Springhill, La., White rushed for 2,287 yards on 270 carries and scored 30 touchdowns. He also had 93 tackles as a linebacker.
He initially planned to arrive at Northwest Arkansas Airport late this afternoon, but his flight was delayed. Instead he’s scheduled to arrive at about 9 p.m.
