The 6-5, 295-pounder tweeted out the good news shortly after Kevin Sumlin’s squad completed its 2016 spring game at Kyle Field.

The Houston native is rated as the nation’s No. 29 offensive tackle and No. 231 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2017 recruiting class.
Reed chose Texas A&M over offers from Texas, Baylor and Auburn, among many others.
