As we head into the 2020 college football season, many of the Big 12 and ACC teams will start their games this weekend.
On Wednesday, FOX Sports commentator Tim Brando ranked his top 10 college football teams, and 5 SEC squads made the cut.
As you can see below, Brando says he’s predicting the way the teams will finish the year, not where they’ll start. He has Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma and LSU in his top 4 spots, which presumably means those are the teams he thinks will be in the College Football Playoff:

It seems unlikely that the SEC would have 5 of the top 8 teams at the end of the year after playing a conference-only schedule, but we’ll see what happens moving forward.
The top teams will start to separate themselves from the rest starting this weekend!
