FOX takes heat on social media for handling of Oklahoma-Kansas finish
By Andrew Olson

FOX had a tricky situation on its hands and upset some fans with how the network handled airing 2 football games.
Oklahoma and Kansas kicked off at noon ET. The game had a weather delay, meaning it did not finish in time for FOX to switch over to the top-15 showdown in Salt Lake City between Utah and Oregon.
Whether fans saw the end of Oklahoma-Kansas or the start of Oregon-Utah on their local FOX channel or needed to move to a FOX affiliate for the other game depended on where they lived. It led to confusion, and some people missed key plays in the process.
Here’s a sample of what was said on social media:
Uh, did anyone else have a commercial break on Fox and come back to Oklahoma going for 2 after (apparently) scoring a TD?

What is FOX doing? They just said Oregon and Utah starting on FOX Business but then immediately went to that game. Oklahoma Kansas moved to FS1 but just stopped airing in 4K?

Wait, Oregon @ Utah is playing on FOX Business Network while the Kansas @ Oklahoma game finishes? It’s not even in the 4th quarter yet.
That’s wild that FOX isn’t nationally broadcasting a top 10 matchup in it’s entirety. Wouldn’t Fox want to show off a new member of the Big 10?

Fox really switched off Kansas and Oklahoma for the Oregon game…KU and OU is a great game going into the 4th. What the hell is this trash?!?

Terrible Decision! Fox Sports is ending broadcast of the Oklahoma/Kansas game as the game goes to the 4th Qtr to move to the Oregon/Utah kickoff.

Did FOX just move away from a top 10 team on the ropes entering the 4th quarter for a game that hasn’t even started yet?
