Full steam ahead! Rose Bowl can be at 100% capacity for LSU’s game vs. UCLA

LSU will kick off the 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4, against UCLA in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
UCLA will have already played a game, as the Bruins have a Week 0 matchup against Hawaii. But, the Tigers will be fresh and taking the field for the first time.
And, they’ll be able to do it in front of a packed house, including what is sure to be a large section of traveling LSU fans. Per the Los Angeles Times, both USC and UCLA are able to host games with 100% capacity this fall:
“We are excited to welcome back students, alumni and fans to the Rose Bowl and our other outside sporting events,” UCLA athletic director Martin Jarmond said in a statement. “Getting the COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged to provide the safest environment for everyone. We will continue to follow local and state health and safety protocols in order to maintain a safe environment for our fans.”
LSU and UCLA have never met on the gridiron. Therefore, this should be a fun matchup late in the California summer.
We’ll see how many LSU fans make the trip out west.
