If Myles Garrett ever wins a title with the Cleveland Browns, the last thing anyone will accuse him of was joining a superstar team.

The former Texas A&M star and Browns’ No. 1 overall pick is taking a different path to glory then say, Kevin Durant. Very different.

In a recent appearance on 92.3 FM “The Fan” in Cleveland, Garrett voiced his frustration about Durant, claiming that his move to Golden State “broke the league.”

Here was the quote via ESPN.com:

It’s worth noting that Durant did win both NBA Finals MVP awards since he joined the Warriors in 2016. He’s certainly elevated his game to a new level the last couple years.

It’s also worth noting that Garrett plays in Cleveland, where he just watched the hometown Cavaliers get swept by Durant’s Warriors. Perhaps Garrett took exception to how lopsided the matchup felt.

Certainly Cavs fans hope that LeBron James’ 2018 mindset on ring chasing resembles Garrett’s.
