Out of North Atlanta (Georgia) High School, Linton is listed as measuring 6-4, 215 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Linton is rated 4-stars, the No. 11 edge defender, No. 16 player in the Peach State and No. 132 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
Linton drew widespread interest. He collected scholarship offers from 12 programs, including Florida State and LSU. For Wednesday’s announcement, it came down to Georgia, Georgia Tech and Rutgers, the 3 schools he saw on official visits.
The Georgia staff knew it wanted Linton early in the process, and that helped UGA land his commitment.
