Georgia dropped from No. 9 to No. 10 in the latest AP poll despite winning its opening game against Louisiana Monroe by a score of 51-14.
The main reason for the drop back? Notre Dame hopped Georgia from No. 11 to No. 9 after the Irish smoked the Texas Longhorns in week 1. Similarly, Florida State moved back to No. 11 from No. 10. The rest of the top ten remained in tact (Alabama and TCU switched places).
