Did Wrigley Field accidentally troll Georgia fans Friday night?

You can’t make this stuff up.

Legendary Georgia coach Vince Dooley threw out the first pitch as thousands of UGA fans called the Dawgs. It was an awesome moment for fans who are heading north to attend the UGA-Notre Dame game Saturday.

But what are the chances that Wrigley Field’s alcohol wristbands are Tennessee checkerboard colors? Only in the SEC would this even be a thing.

Chicago sports radio and TV host David Kaplan tweeted saying Georgia fans weren’t happy about the Tennessee-colored wristbands Friday night. Of course, it’s my mere coincidence, but it’s still funny that Bulldogs fans are worked up about having to wear them to buy a drink.

The Bulldogs and Irish kick off at 7:30 pm ET on Saturday.
