WATCH: Georgia fans call the Dawgs at Wrigley as Vince Dooley throws out first pitch
Georgia fans have already made their presence felt in the Chicago area this weekend leading up to Saturday’s game at Notre Dame.
One example came when legendary former coach Vince Dooley threw out the ceremonial first pitch of Friday’s game at Wrigley Field between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.
During Dooley’s 25-year career coaching at Georgia, he led the Bulldogs to a win over Notre Dame in the 1981 Sugar Bowl, a 17-10 result.
Georgia fans have already witnessed at least one full flight, which caused Delta to pony up for change fees for one passenger.
Georgia and Notre Dame will kickoff Saturday night in South Bend, Ind. in a game to be televised on NBC.
Heard some school has a pep rally the night before their FB games. Well the DawgNation is having one at Wrigley Field#Tonight'sJustAWarmUp
