Georgia has secured the commitment of an in-state defensive back early in his recruitment.
Cedartown standout Tae Harris, a Class of 2025 prospect, has pledged to stay in the Peach State and play for the Bulldogs. He announced his commitment Monday on Twitter, including a note with the following:
“I would like to thank God for blessing me with this great opportunity. A special thank you to my mama for her support and all the sacrifices she has made. Without you, I wouldn’t be the strong man I am today. I would like to thank all my coaches heavily for pushing me and for believing in my craft. Thank you for your patience and the time you have invested in building a relationship with me. Thank you to my family and friends through this long journey for the encouragement and love. With that being said I am very blessed to announce I’m 100% COMMITTED TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION AND FOOTBALL CAREER WITH UGA…. GO DAWGS!!!”
With Harris on board, Georgia now has 6 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class, ranked No. 1 by the 247Sports Composite. Highlights for Harris, who does not yet have a star rating, can be viewed below, via Hudl:
