One of the top available tight ends in the Southeast appears to be nearing a decision date as Tommy Tremble has narrowed his options down to six schools: Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Notre Dame, UCLA and Fresno State.

The three-star Georgia legacy is a native of Norcross, Ga., and is rated as the nation’s No. 24 tight end prospect according to his 247Sports Composite Ratings. His father Greg played for the Bulldogs in the early 1990s. Aside from his impressive offer sheet from many of the top athletic programs in the nation, Tremble also holds offers from several elite academic schools, such as Columbia, Dartmouth, Penn, Princeton, and Yale.

Tremble announced his Top 6 via Twitter Tuesday:

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Tremble has yet to announce his commitment date but it will be interesting to see which program he ultimately selects from considering his numerous and diverse offers.
