Four-star linebacker Roquan Smith has had a memorable National Signing Day.
After announcing Wednesday afternoon that he was signing with UCLA on ESPNU, the Georgia target remains undecided according to his high school coach, Larry Harold, in an interview with the AJC after he was told Bruins defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich is heading to the NFL.
Smith told Rivals “my mind said UCLA, but my heart said Georgia” during what has turned into a nerve-wracking stretch for the Montezuma, Ga. native following his verbal announcement.
The argument over whether a player commits to coach, or the actual school, will be fascinating. Very interesting situation w/ Roquan Smith.

Smith has reportedly reopened his recruitment to include the Bulldogs, Texas A&M and Michigan.
