Georgia DB Kirby Choates won’t return to the program in 2017, according to his Instagram page.
On Monday night, the sophomore announced that he was leaving the Bulldogs, thanking those who helped him along the way:
Appearing in three games this season, Choates did not record any statistics. He appeared in 11 games in 2015, recording three tackles that year.
Choates, a 6-foot, 194-pound defender, was a former three-star recruit out of the Atlanta area. He has yet to announce a transfer destination.
