It’s just over a week before the first College Football Playoff rankings, which are set to be unveiled on Nov. 24.

This year’s rankings will be especially hyped and debated as the committee considers the already-crazy scheduling shifts. So in a fun twist – and to get the debates started early – Goodyear and ESPN are giving fans the chance to choose who they think should advance to the semifinals before the official selection committee makes their picks.

Through “Goodyear Playoff Fan Picks,” fans can vote on their CFP bracket prediction via ESPN’s Instagram story Nov. 15-16. While voting results may not influence the official selection committee’s rankings, there are some very real – and very cool – implications. That’s because voting results will be transformed into a massive Playoff bracket outside the College Football Hall of Fame, captured from above by the Goodyear Blimp and featured on College GameDay next Saturday, Nov. 21.

And much like when official rankings are released, fan results will be subject to the age-old question: “did they get it right?”

Results from that fan vote will be unveiled during College GameDay Built by The Home Depot on Nov. 21, before the selection committee releases its rankings Nov. 24.

Contending teams in the mix include Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio, Florida, Texas A&M and Cincinnati.
