Grammy Award winners to perform free pregame concert at SEC Championship Game
Grammy Award-winning performers will get the party vibes going early on Dec. 7 in the leadup to the 2024 SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
Before the battle to see who the SEC’s best team is in 2024, the stage will belong to 3-time Grammy superstars Dan + Shay, a country music duo made up of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. Their long list of No. 1 hit songs include “Tequila,” “Speechless,” “10,000 Hours” and more.
The duo will perform in Building B of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta during the SEC FanFare. The concert will begin at noon ET. The first 2 songs of the concert will be broadcast live on the SEC Championship edition of Marty & McGee as well as on SEC Network+.
The concert starts roughly 4 hours before the 4 p.m. ET kickoff of the SEC Championship Game down the road a little at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Of course, with 2 weeks left in the regular season and still so much to be determined in the crowded SEC standings, we don’t know who will be playing for the crown that day.
But we do know that Dan + Shay will be getting fans ready for the game with that free concert before 2 teams collide with SEC title dreams and College Football Playoff aspirations.
Ooh ooh, we're speechless!
