Heather Dinich and Mike Greenberg debate Alabama and Georgia as top 2 teams in country

After the first full week of college football, there’s a question about how the national championship contenders fared, and if changes need to be made about who’s still in the hunt.
ESPN’s Heather Dinich and Mike Greenberg took on that challenge during Monday’s “Get Up” on ESPN, and debated whether Ohio State is still among the top 2 teams in the country. Or if Alabama and Georgia are in a class by themselves again.
“I’m going to say there’s wiggle room for Ohio State,” Dinich said. “Hold on a minute, because when you look at what Ohio State did in the fourth quarter, CJ Stroud completed 9 of 10 passes. Grind it out, run the ball, strong defense — they found a different way to win.”
Greenberg took the other side.
“I need to push back on this,” Greenberg said. “Oregon is supposed to be a good team. In theory a neutral-site game. I get it, Atlanta is not a neutral site for Georgia, but whatever. That was never a game. I sat down to watch that and I had to go find something else to do at the end of the first quarter because it was so completely noncompetitive. Ohio State had a battle on its hands all night long. I know it’s early in the season, but Georgia looked incredible to me.”
