Heel or babyface? College football player leaving the gridiron to pursue wrestling career

There have been a number of football players who have gone on to become famous wrestlers over the years — The Rock and Bill Goldberg, to name a couple.

But, often, those guys play out their football careers before entering the ring. That wasn’t the case for a player this week, though.

UCF OL Parker Boudreaux is not on the Knights’ roster for the 2021 season. He missed the 2020 season with a concussion, but started every game at right guard in 2019.

As you can see below, he posted a picture on Sunday with former WWE star Eva Marie, seemingly indicating that a move to the ring was imminent:

Boudreaux transferred to UCF from Notre Dame prior to the 2017 season. When will he officially make his wrestling debut? We’ll find out soon, it seems.
