Here’s what prediction markets are saying about the 2025 SEC Championship Game
It’s the last day of the 2025 regular season, but this year’s SEC Championship Game field has not yet been finalized.
Georgia clinched a spot on Friday evening by virtue of Texas A&M losing to Texas. However, the Bulldogs’ opponent is not yet official.
Georgia’s opponent depends on the outcome of the Iron Bowl. If Alabama wins on the road against Auburn on Saturday night, it will be another Alabama vs. Georgia rematch in the SEC title game. If the Tigers pull off the upset, Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss will compete for the SEC crown next weekend.
SEC Championship Game predictions
Although the field is not set, prediction markets like Kalshi have afforded users the opportunity to put money on SEC Championship predictions for weeks.
As of Saturday morning, Georgia is now the favorite to win this year’s SEC crown. The Bulldogs looked unlikely to even reach the title game before Friday, but will seemingly be favored in a rematch against either the Crimson Tide or Ole Miss in Atlanta next week.
Entering the final Saturday of the regular season, here’s how Kalshi is viewing the SEC Championship Game market:
As of publication, Georgia to win the SEC is priced at 53 cents per contract. A correct prediction on Kalshi pays out at a rate of $1 per contract.

Alabama and Ole Miss are also still very much alive in the SEC title race. The Crimson Tide must win at Auburn on Saturday night in order to qualify for a spot alongside Georgia in Atlanta next week.
Alabama is favored on the Plains, but not by a significant margin. Here’s a live look at Kalshi’s market place for the Iron Bowl:
Georgia has already faced both Alabama and Ole Miss this season. The Bulldogs lost to Alabama in Athens earlier this year — their only loss of the 2025 campaign so far.
Georgia does have a win over Ole Miss already in its back pocket. The Rebels scored touchdowns 5 straight possessions against Georgia back on Oct. 18, but the Bulldogs prevailed 43-35.
Georgia and Alabama have combined to win 10 of the last 11 SEC Championships.
