Hot mic captures NSFW criticism of refs in Big 12 showdown

Hot mics are always dangerous, especially if you have a vested interest in a game.
That was the case on Saturday night in the Kansas-Texas Tech game when someone who appeared to be a Texas Tech fan was irritated following a Kansas touchdown.
Once the Jayhawks scored to pull within 5 points, a fan said on a nearby mic, “The refs f—— such this game, they’re like f—— terrible.”
After a slow start, the Jayhawks roared back following a 24-13 deficit.
During this memorable season at Kansas, the Jayhawks are bowl eligible for the first time since 2008, and are trying to clinch their first winning record since that same season.
Kansas is coming off a 37-16 win at Oklahoma State and came in with a 6-3 record, compared to Tech’s 4-5 mark.
