Houston Texans announce uniform numbers for several SEC rookies, including Derek Stingley Jr.

The Houston Texans liked what they saw from the SEC in 2021, drafting 6 players from the conference during the 2022 NFL Draft.
Included among those picks were 2 first-round selections — LSU CB Derek Stingley Jr. at No. 3 overall and Texas A&M OL Kenyon Green at No. 15 overall.
Now, they’ve handed out jersey numbers to the rookies. Here are some of the numbers SEC rookies in Houston will wear this fall:
- Derek Stingley Jr. — No. 24
- Dameon Pierce — No. 31
- Christian Harris — No. 48
- Kenyon Green — No. 59
- Austin Deculus — No. 76
- John Metchie III — No. 88
Which rookies will shine in 2022? The Texans will be counting on both Stingley and Green to be immediate contributors.
