Hunter Henry expected to make season debut for Chargers in upcoming playoff game
The Chargers got some great news heading into the postseason as tight end Hunter Henry is expected to make his season debut for Los Angeles in the upcoming NFL playoffs. Maybe Stephen A. Smith knew what he was talking about all along.
Los Angeles is set to travel to Baltimore for the Wild Card Round on Sunday and according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Henry is expected to play for the Chargers. Henry tore his ACL in May and has yet to suit up for LA this season following two promising seasons for the Chargers to begin his NFL career.
Henry registered 81 catches for 1,057 yards and 12 touchdowns so far in his career, which came following an All-American career at Arkansas under former coach Bret Bielema. The Chargers selected Henry in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Henry’s younger brother Hayden is currently a member of Chad Morris’ team and his other brother Hudson is committed to play in Fayetteville as a member of the 2019 recruiting class. Hudson is rated by many as the top tight end prospect in the nation for the 2019 cycle.
