Isendre ‘Papa’ Ahfua, elite 4-star 2024 OL, announces SEC commitment

Isendre “Papa” Ahfua will be leaving the Pacific Northwest to play in the SEC next year. The blue-chip lineman from Seattle has committed to play for Texas A&M.

Ahfua verbally pledged to the Aggies during a commitment ceremony streamed live on YouTube. Jimbo Fisher’s program beat out Miami, Utah and others to land Ahfua’s commitment.

A standout at O’Dea High School, Ahfua is listed as measuring 6-4 and 310 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Ahfua is rated 4-stars, the No. 1 player in the state of Washington, No. 5 interior offensive lineman and No. 110 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Ahfua picked up scholarship offers from 22 schools during his recruitment. He visited all 3 finalists in June. Ahfua documented his trip to Texas A&M on social media, offering the Aggie faithful a preview of how he looks sporting the maroon and white.

With Ahfua on board, Texas A&M now has 19 commitments in its 2024 recruiting class, which ranks No. 13 nationally on the Composite.
