Alabama continued its come back against Tennessee, and after a key fourth-down stop against the Vols, Jahmyr Gibbs turned on the speed and helped the Crimson Tide tie the game.
Tennessee had an 8-play drive, but it was stopped on fourth down when Hendon Hooker completed a pass to Jacob Warren, but he was stopped a yard short of the first down.
Alabama then took the ball and needed just 3 plays for Gibbs to score from 26 yards, and then Ja’Corey Brooks completed the 2-point conversion. That play was setup by a Jermaine Burton 36-yard pass from Bryce Young. The score helped Alabama tie the game after it once trailed by 18 points.
It’s been a strong day for Gibbs, who has 17 carries for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns, including that touchdown which was his longest run of the day. He also added a catch for 6 yards.
