Twitter was ablaze Monday morning when Alabama quarterback Jake Coker didn’t show up to practice. The university announced that Coker is expected to miss several days of practice with a foot injury.

Speculation abounded with team beat writers calming fans down this morning.

Coker will miss ‘several days’ of practice, but the university anticipates a full recovery.

“Jake Coker has a minor foot injury that we think will keep him out of practice for several days. Our physicians anticipate a full recovery,” the university said in a statement.

With Coker out, David Cornwell, Alec Morris and Blake Barnett will get all of the reps at quarterback.
