Thanks in large part to Jalen Hurts, Oklahoma continues to march on in dominating fashion as the Sooners are now 3-0 on the season following a 48-14 win at UCLA.

In three games this season, Hurts has completed 80.3 percent of his passes for 880 yards and nine touchdowns without an interception, while at the same time, is leading the Sooners in rushing with 373 yards and another four scores on the ground. While it’s still early, there is no question at this point of the season, Hurts is right in the middle of the Heisman Trophy discussion following his fast start.

While it would be easy to imagine the Oklahoma signal-caller would be happy with his performance, Alabama fans familiar with the coaching Nick Saban has instilled in Hurts know that’s not the way Hurts is going to react after just three games.

In fact, Hurts pulled out “rat poison” when discussing Oklahoma’s 3-0 start to the season this weekend:

Hurts may not be in Tuscaloosa anymore but he carries the lessons learned from his time at Alabama with him each and every day in Norman.
