Ja’Marr Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals are 0-2 and don’t look right heading into a Monday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.
What’s the issue? Star QB Joe Burrow looks off as he deals with a calf injury suffered during the preseason.
So what should Burrow do? Chase had some advice for his former LSU teammate and current quarterback — don’t play until you’re ready:

“I told him back then, don’t play until you’re 100% ready to play,” Chase said. “So, I don’t know what he’s doing (on Monday).”
Chase was then asked if he thought Burrow was fully healed when he started in Week 1.
“I doubt it,” he said simply.
Football can be a brutal game. Chase clearly cares about his friend and teammate. It seems Chase doesn’t know what Burrow will do on Monday night, but his advice would be for Burrow to sit. If Burrow sits, though, the Bengals might continue their struggles. How long can they survive without Burrow if he rests?
