Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was the No. 1 overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday night.

Winston didn’t attend the draft, but he had his own party in his hometown of Bessemer, Alabama. Following the Buccaneers’ selection, Winston posted a picture of himself enjoying a nice big plate of — you guessed it — crab legs on his Instagram account.

Winston is getting blasted by the media for posting the picture, which was later deleted.

Here’s the photo from his Instagram account:

After the media started hammering Winston, former Tampa Bay quarterback Shaun King took to Twitter to explain the photo. King attended a recent charity event with Winston, and the Deadliest Catch’s Captain Keith asked Winston to help him auction off crab legs at the event. Winston obliged, and in return, Captain Keith sent Winston 25 pounds of crab legs.
