Jarrett Stidham may very well be the quarterback that succeeds Tom Brady, but that’s a few years off.
Stidham battled Brian Hoyer during the Patriots preseason for Brady’s backup job, and he won the gig with a stellar performance.
On Sunday, Stidham recorded his first NFL completion. With New England up 30-7 over the Jets, Stidham’s first NFL completion was a first down to receiver Phillip Dorsett.
Stidham finished 2-of-3 for 14 yards during his debut.
