Javon Baker was a 4-star receiver out of Georgia in the 2020 recruiting class who ended up at Alabama.

In 2 years with the Crimson Tide, he amassed 9 catches for 116 yards and 1 touchdown, also picking up a national championship during the 2022 season.

This offseason, he entered the NCAA transfer portal and committed to Kentucky, but according to KSR, Baker won’t suit up for the Wildcats this fall:

One of the top transfer portal wide receivers in America will not be taking his talents to the University of Kentucky. A source tells KSR that Javon Baker will not be on the field for the Wildcats this fall.

So, what’s next for Baker? That remains to be seen, but it doesn’t appear he’ll be in Kentucky blue in 2022.
