Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss are 5-1 following a 27-20 win over Arkansas on Saturday.

The Rebels have won 2 in a row since falling to Alabama 24-10 on Sept. 23. They now head into the open week before facing Auburn on Oct. 21.

Dart, after the game, brought up a message that Lane Kiffin has had for his players in recent weeks.

“A saying that Coach Kiffin’s been saying lately is to stay calm through the storm,” he said. “Any time we face any sort of adversity, don’t freak out, don’t be too high, don’t be too low. Stay calm and just trust our process that we put in, from the whole offseason to our preparation leading up to the game.”

Dart was injured early on but stayed in the game. He finished 16-of-25 for 153 yards and an touchdown and was held to 33 yards on 12 carries.

From an injury standpoint, Kiffin provided a positive prognosis of Dart’s status, saying “he’ll be fine” for Auburn.
