Jaxson Dart made Ole Miss history on Saturday while leading the Rebels to a 26-14 win over Oklahoma.
Ole Miss’s senior quarterback threw for 311 yards on 22/30 passing with 1 touchdown. By eclipsing 300 yards once again, Dart ties a school record for the most 300+ yard passing games in school history.

In case you’re wondering, Dart has now tossed for 300 yards in 12 games across his 3 years in Oxford. That ties Jordan Ta’amu and Chad Kelly for the most in Rebels history.
And there’s a very good chance he takes sole possession of that record this season. The Rebels are guaranteed at least 5 more games this season, 3 of which come against average or below average defensive units (Mississippi State, Florida and Arkansas).
Dart currently has the 10th best Heisman Odds, last updated just prior to his performance against the Sooners. The fact of the matter is Ole Miss needs to reinsert itself in the conversation for the College Football Playoff before Dart can have any chance of being seriously considered for the award.
Ole Miss is back in action next weekend, facing off against an Arkansas team that performed very well on offense against a bad MSU defense in Week 9.
