Jaylan Hornsby, 4-star 2024 WR from New Jersey, announces SEC commitment

Jaylan Hornsby is headed south to play in the SEC. The blue-chip wide receiver from New Jersey has committed to play for Texas A&M.

Hornsby has picked up 17 scholarship offers during his recruitment. On Saturday, he announced a verbal pledge to play for Jimbo Fisher’s program.

A standout performer for Winslow Township in 2022, Hornsby is listed as measuring 6-2, 195 pounds. He is rated 4-stars, the No. 5 New Jersey recruit, No. 57 wide receiver and No. 376 prospect overall nationally in the Class of 2024 on the 247Sports Composite.

In late March, Hornsby visited Texas A&M campus and picked up a scholarship offer from the Aggies, leading him to return for an official visit last month. He also drew interest from Georgia, Tennessee, Penn State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others during his recruitment.

Hornsby is Texas A&M’s third commitment over the last 3 days, giving the Aggies 15 pledges for 2024. His highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
