Jim Chaney has plenty of SEC experience under his belt, having worked as an offensive coordinator at 3 SEC programs.

From 2009 to 2012, he was the OC at Tennessee. In 2013 and 2014, he held that position at Arkansas. From 2016 to 2018, he was Georgia’s OC. Then, from 2019 to 2020, he was back on Rocky Top.

After spending the 2021 season with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, Chaney has reportedly accepted a job at Georgia Tech:

Per the 247Sports report, Chaney will serve as an offensive analyst for the Yellow Jackets this season.

Will Chaney find his way back to the SEC someday? We’ll see where this year’s gig on Georgia Tech’s support staff leads.
