Jim McElwain is in the holiday spirit.
Florida’s coach brought a bag of Reese’s peanut butter candy to his weekly news conference Monday and offered them to reporters, asking them to “take care of yourself on this Halloween.”
“The bowl is going to say, ‘Just take one.’ And we all know how that was when we were kids growing up,” McElwain joked. “That meant look around and grab a couple more, right?”
McElwain went on to preview the Arkansas game, which could be a series hurdle as his team tries to maintain its grip on the SEC East lead. The Razorbacks (5-3, 1-3) host the No. 10 Gators (6-1, 4-1) at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
