Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies face immense pressure heading into the 2022 season.

After beating Alabama in 2021, finishing the year with an overall record of 8-4 was considered disappointing by many fans and analysts.

Now, the Aggies bring in a historic 2022 recruiting class as spring practices get underway. But, on Thursday, Fisher revealed 5-star freshman DL Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy would miss the spring session with an injury to his knee:

Brownlow-Dindy is one of several Aggies expected to sit out this spring. But, according to Fisher, all should be ready for fall camp:

As far as the QB battle goes, Fisher said the depth the Aggies have at the position will lead to a great battle this spring. He also noted that last year’s Week 1 starter, Haynes King, is 100% healthy now:

Who will win the competition at the game’s most important position? It’s unlikely Fisher will name a starter after the spring practice season, but we’ll at least get a good look at who seems to be sticking out.
