Jimbo Fisher, Shemar Stewart sound off on rumors of Texas A&M spending millions for No. 1 2022 class

Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies have officially signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the history of the 247Sports composite rankings.

Naturally, the Aggies signing all that talent led to allegations of using the NCAA’s new NIL rules to simply buy players.

Fisher said during an interview on Wednesday that it’s simply not true. In fact, he called out BroBible for its ridiculous story:

5-star DL Shemar Stewart, who signed with the Aggies on Wednesday, took to Twitter to dispute the money claims, too. He said if the decision was about money, he would have stayed with his hometown Miami Hurricanes:

Of course, with a school like Texas A&M that has deep pockets, there will always be these sorts of rumors and allegations.
