J’Marion Burnette, 4-star RB for 2024, releases top 10 loaded with SEC schools

J’Marion Burnette, one of the top running backs in the 2024 recruiting cycle, has released his top 10 schools.
Burnette’s list is full of SEC schools. The Andalusia (Ala.) product named in-state schools Alabama and Auburn as finalists, along with Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, and future conference member Texas. Florida State, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State round out his top 10.
Through 10 games as a junior, Burnette has rushed for 1,428 yards and 16 touchdowns on 172 carries. As a sophomore, he totaled 2,281 yards on 326 carries in 15 games, scoring 12 times. He is considered the No. 9 running back in the class of 2024 by 247Sports’ composite rankings. Among players in the state of Alabama, he is ranked 6th, while his nationwide ranking regardless of position is No. 138.
