Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are the champions of the AFC North this year after a home win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Burrow was magnificent, throwing for 446 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in the 34-31 victory. That was after he threw for 525 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 picks in a 41-21 win over the Baltimore Ravens last weekend.

Needless to say, no one in the NFL is hotter than Joe Burrow right now. That prompted CBS analyst Nate Burleson to compare the former LSU star to reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers:

“I’m not sure how many times this comparison has been made, and maybe I just need to make it more often, but the more I watch Joe Burrow, the more I see glimpses of Aaron Rodgers,” Burleson said. “Joe Burrow’s athletic enough to leave the pocket if he wants to. He can go up there and pick up a first down if the pocket collapses. … This man has something special. … Name another quarterback that is as hot as Joe Burrow.”

How far can the Bengals go in the playoffs? With the way Burrow is playing right now, Cincinnati won’t be an easy out this postseason. There’s one more game left in the regular season for the Bengals, so we’ll see if Burrow plays in that one or not.
