Joe Judge has seen a lot of things in his two decades of coaching. He hasn’t seen much that compares to Ole Miss’s current situation, though.
Judge, the Ole Miss quarterbacks coach, spoke to media members on Tuesday ahead of the No. 6 seed Rebels’ College Football Playoff semifinal clash with No. 10 seed Miami. With multiple Ole Miss staffers bound for LSU with Lane Kiffin, there’s uncertainty about how many will coach Thursday night in the Fiesta Bowl as they spend time in Baton Rouge working for the Tigers during a busy transfer portal window.
How crazy are things for Ole Miss? Judge said it’s more chaotic than when he lived next to Aaron Hernandez.
Ole Miss' Joe Judge on if this is the most hectic week of his career with coaches coming and going during CFP run:

"My nextdoor neighbor was Aaron Hernandez. I know this is still more chaotic."
Hernandez was a member of the New England Patriots through the 2012 season and into the 2013 offseason. Judge was on Nick Saban‘s Alabama staff the first 2 years of that period, but joined the Patriots in 2012 as a special teams assistant.
Many will remember the national media coverage surrounding the police search of Aaron Hernandez’s home on June 18, 2013. He was charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd a week later.
Quite the comparison made by Judge.
