Joe Milton has struggled with overthrowing Tennessee receivers in the first half of the Vols’ game against Pitt.

His struggles continued in the second quarter and then, after a sack, he appeared to be injured. Milton was then replaced by backup Hendon Hooker.

Per reports from the game, Milton headed to the locker room early and he appeared to have a limp as he made his way off the field.

Milton completed 7 of his 12 passes for 50 yards and ran 5 times for 54 yards before leaving the game.

Whether he’s able to return or not remains to be seen. For now, it seems as though Hooker will lead the Vol offense for the rest of the first half.
