FOX analyst Joel Klatt has finalized his predictions for Week 2 of the 2025 season.
Klatt is taking Oklahoma to beat Michigan in a close game on Saturday night in Norman. However, he thinks the Wolverines will cover the 5.5-point spread that’s being offered at most sportsbooks as of publication.
Klatt is predicting a 28-24 win for the Sooners.
The latest college football betting lines have the total set at around 44.5 points, so Klatt also likes the over in this matchup.
Oklahoma is coming off of a 35-3 win over Illinois State in Week 1. It was a bit of a mixed bag for the Sooners, as quarterback John Mateer had a solid program debut but OU struggled to run the ball efficiently.
Michigan beat New Mexico 34-17 in Week 1 as Bryce Underwood made his collegiate debut. The true freshman looked good in his first game as he threw for 251 yards and 1 touchdown.
While Oklahoma and Michigan are two of the winningest programs in the modern college football era, the Sooners and Wolverines have only met once before. That matchup came back in 1975 at the Orange Bowl. Oklahoma won the game 14-6 and was the consensus national champion for that season.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night in Norman.
