John Calipari is taking issue with a Zillow listing that went viral.

Earlier this month, a Lexington real estate listing called out Calipari for not being a model neighbor.

“UK fans, this house is close enough for Coach Calipari to borrow your weed eater, but apparently too far away for him to return it,” the listing read.

Calipari takes issue with the weed eater dig on the grounds that he would not use one.

“A guy puts that I borrowed his weed eater. I borrowed his weed eater!? I don’t even know what a weed eater is!” Calipari joked at his Women’s Clinic. “Why would I… I wouldn’t know what to do with it. So, anyway, I think it sold his house. It got everybody’s attention.”

Calipari seemingly has a point. A prominent basketball coach for over 2 decades certainly has the resources to have others handle his yard work. If the weed eater jab was just a way to sell the house, we might see more famous neighbors being called out in hopes of generating interest.
