Josh Heupel and Tennessee face Kentucky this week in a primetime game in Neyland Stadium , and the Tennessee coach said the Vols need a strong effort to take care of business.
“Big one this week. Big one,” Heupel said. “We’re playing a really good team (Kentucky) that’s really good in all three phases, and they’ve had 2 weeks to prepare for us. Our players need to have a real sense of urgency.”
About Kentucky QB Will Levis, Heupel said he’s a good decision-maker and has the ability to push the ball vertically and horizontally.
“He’s accurate with the football, mature player, he’s played a bunch of football,” Heupel said. “Everything kind of runs through him, and he does a lot of checks at the line of scrimmage. I think in their run game too and puts them in the right position.”
Levis’ backfield mate is Chris Rodriguez, and Heupel said the running back n Kentucky running back is “Just dynamic and the ability to do a really good job with the ball in his hands.”
